An original 8.5×6.5″ vintage photo from a large collection of American Expeditionary Force (AEF) Signal Corps photos we acquired from the estate of a collector. It has an exceptionally helpful caption written in pen by the image. Many of the photos in this set are of the 119th Inf 30th Div, so if this photo is not labeled otherwise, odds are good they are depicted. Professionally packaged in a rigid mailer for safe delivery. Photo Overview Three men decorated for bravery stand in front of a formation of soldiers from the 307th Infantry Regiment near Le Mans, France. The soldiers are lined up for a review, marking a ceremonial moment on January 1, 1919. The 307th Infantry Regiment, part of the 77th Division, was engaged in significant battles during World War I, including the Meuse-Argonne Offensive. These ceremonies often honored acts of valor and commemorated the service of soldiers returning from the front lines.
