SS Normandie Original 1936 French Ocean Liner Steamship Lithograph Gallery #6996

This Item is in a primitive nailed, wooden framed, most likely a tourist piece from the ship’s gallery, as the original backing is still showing with the original gallery sticker. It shows Gallery number of #6996. The overall dimensions: 9.5″ X 12 3/4″ Primitive nailed, wooden, matted l ithograph frame. Wired Hanger. There is some paint ware spots that seem to have been rubbed off a bit but it shows only minor character flaws of this nearly 85 year old framed ship ephemera. Menu measures: 27 x 21.5 cm folded. This Ship no longer exists and the menu is on acidic paper which too will result, one day, to no longer exist.  This lithograph is from 1936. Has original Cleveland Picture Gallery No. 6996. Sticker  backing. The back paper, with original sticker, is falling away from the original backing. The matting and backing other than the gallery paper is securely matted and then nailed in place. Minor water damage around matting not on the actual lithograph that I can see. I have provided pictures showing where the water stopped around the edges and didn’t seep through to the actual menu to help give full knowledge of condition and so you can see further into the condition.
