Cerwin Vega 10″ Refoam Kit with 2.75″ CV logo Dust Caps! This kit will fit the CV RE-25 10″ woofers which use red surrounds. These surrounds have an angled attachment to the cone. The kit comes with new felt 2.75″ CV logo dust caps. If you need the 3.75″ caps, let us know and we will send those instead. Each Refoam Kit includes all the materials needed to repair two (2) woofers: Refoaming Instructions Two 10″ Red Foam Surrounds (F10-6) – Made in the USA Shims for centering the 1.5″ voice coils Two 2.75″ CV Dust Caps with logos 1 Bottle of Specially Formulated Foam Surround Adhesive We are a Cerwin Vega authorized service center and use these parts everyday. *It can be difficult to refoam a speaker without removing the dust cap and inserting the plastic shims. The plastic shims are used to center the voice coil and cone assembly while the speaker is being refoamed. CV speakers have a very tight voice coil gap which leaves little room for error. If you do not use the plastic shims, the voice coil may be off center and it may lead to the voice coil rubbing.
